About The Position

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA is seeking individuals to join our Dining Services Department. As the largest non profit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, we are more than just a place to work. Requirements

• Fast food or restaurant experience preferred
• Experience working with senior population preferred
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents
• Available on holidays, evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Greets residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room.
• Record food and beverage orders and input into POS system.
• Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed.
• Set up, clear and clean dining room ensuring tables are clean and disinfected.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages.
• Provide effective and courteous services to all residents, guests, vendors and fellow team members.
• Takes note of safety concerns and needed repairs and reports to supervisor.
• Adheres to HIPPA privacy rules and company policies.
