Requirements

Ability to stand and move for extended periods; lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
Willingness to obtain Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent).

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in food service, dining, or hospitality preferred; senior living experience a plus.
Familiarity with kosher dietary laws is beneficial; training will be provided.
Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Set, maintain, and clear dining tables with attention to detail and resident dignity.
Take meal orders and serve food and beverages in accordance with Tamarisk's standards and each resident's preferences and dietary needs.
Anticipate resident needs by refilling drinks, adjusting pace, and providing accommodations, before being asked.
Foster warm, respectful relationships with residents and their families, learning names and preferences over time.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of meal service.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment before, during, and after each meal service.
Assist with special events, themed dinners, and holiday celebrations as needed.
Adhere to food safety protocols at all times.
