About The Position
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Wait Staff/Server serving meals to residents in a long-term care facility and helping ensure an exceptional dining experience. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The offered pay rate is USD $16.00–$16.50 per hour. Residency within the service area is required. The position must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Offered salary rates are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs and operational requirements of the facility served. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Residency within the service area is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
- Maintain a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Interact positively and courteously with residents, guests, and staff.
- Communicate with kitchen and dining staff to support smooth meal service.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including plating and assembling meals.
- Follow safety and food-handling regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
