About The Position

The Wait Staff/Server position at Home Cafe is responsible for taking customer orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves maintaining a clean work environment, fostering positive relationships with guests and employees, and adhering to all established security protocols. The server will also perform sidework, answer guest questions about the menu, and maintain general awareness of restaurant operations, reporting any concerns to their supervisor.

Requirements

Demonstrated hands-on hospitality, hosting, or serving experience, preferably within a gaming environment.
Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work.
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
One (1) or more years of recent and related experience.
Successful completion of Bloodborne Pathogens and hazardous material training.

Responsibilities

Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license if applicable.
Performs sidework, including stocking condiments and paper products.
Delivers excellent customer service, making guests feel welcome and encouraging repeat visits.
Answers guest questions regarding menu options or general information about the Home Cafe.
Follows established security protocols to ensure a safe restaurant work environment.
Maintains alertness and general awareness of restaurant operations, keeping the supervisor informed of any concerns.
