About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Wait Staff/Server, serving meals to residents in a long-term care facility and helping ensure an exceptional dining experience. The role contributes to HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The offered pay rate is USD $18.00–$19.00 per hour. Salary rates are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs and requirements of the facility served. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a dining or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and management.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents according to their dietary needs and preferences.
• Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals.
• Maintain a clean and safe dining environment by following sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude when interacting with residents, guests, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, including plating and assembling meals.
• Follow safety and food-handling regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
