About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations. You’ll be a critical member of a small team, responsible for research and development of capabilities to provide superior service in support of national defense objectives. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field and 15+ years of professional related experience; Master's degree in related field will be considered in lieu of 4 years on experience
  • 10+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86
  • 5+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience with CI / CD Pipelines and version control (Git)
  • An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development
  • Cross-Platform Windows-Linux development
  • Experience with Windows Internals and/or Linux kernel level programming
  • Knowledge of concurrent application development concepts (multi-threaded and/or distributed)
  • Familiarity with antivirus evasion techniques
  • Assembly languages (x86, ARM, MIPS, etc)
  • Additional Operating Systems (Android, iOS, OSX)
  • Certified/trained in one or more of the following: Corelan Bootcamp/Advanced, ManTech ACTP Windows/Linux/VR&E, OSCP, OSED, OSWE
  • Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or related mission environments

Responsibilities

  • Perform vulnerability research / reverse engineering (VR/RE) against a variety of hardware and software targets
  • Allocate tasking to support larger-scale cyber tool development
  • Perform testing and integration of cyber tools
