About The Position

The Bowen Group, a GTSC company, seeks a skilled VTC/AV Engineer to design, install, and maintain video teleconferencing and audio-visual systems supporting a network of technical communications facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring reliable, secure collaboration capabilities across multiple locations. The position requires a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI-eligibility and Special Access Programs (SAP) eligibility. The role involves significant travel, estimated at 25-50%, to support activities across various program locations. The primary mission is to ensure seamless and secure collaboration across geographically dispersed sites.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret clearance with SCI-eligibility and SAP-eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing or supporting VTC/AV systems, including in classified environments.
• Working knowledge of VTC codecs, AV control systems, and related collaboration technologies.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I).
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) facilities, systems, or environments.
• Familiarity with multi-tier enterprise conference room standardization and design of classified and unclassified AV room configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain VTC and AV systems across facility locations.
• Troubleshoot VTC/AV connectivity, performance, and integration issues.
• Coordinate with network and facility teams to ensure systems meet security and interoperability requirements.
• Support scheduling, testing, and live operation of VTC/AV systems for meetings and events.
• Maintain equipment inventories, documentation, and maintenance schedules.
• Support operations center AV integration, including NOC/SOC display systems and 24x7 monitoring environment requirements.
