The VPM Coordinator will ensure that procured equipment, materials, and services are delivered according to schedule, within budget, to specification (including industry codes and quality standards), and meet agreed contractual terms. The position requires evaluating technical aspects of supplier products for compliance with industry and internal standards, monitoring Purchase Order execution, updating order status in tracking tools, and maintaining accurate records of sourced items. Additionally, the role involves staying updated on global vendor sourcing options to support project objectives and optimize cost savings, coordinating inspection activities, proactively identifying potential delivery issues, conducting vendor evaluations, collaborating with vendors to build expertise and evaluate risks, developing recovery plans, and coordinating action plans to resolve non-conformities.
