About The Position

LPL is looking for a VPII, M&A Product Manager to drive the success of our large M&A deals and partnerships. This role involves leading the M&A product team, overseeing the delivery of capability builds and integration readiness for significant M&A deals and partnerships. The position requires close collaboration with domain Product and Tech leads to ensure effective delivery, clear documentation and prioritization of end-to-end requirements, and maintaining visibility of the deal roadmap for on-time and on-budget execution. The role also includes managing financials, resolving complex issues with a client-first approach, managing multiple client relationships, and developing playbooks and standardized integration processes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry, driving large-scale transformational initiatives with program management disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with various levels within the organization and influence key decision makers
  • The ability to lead across a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority
  • Desire to drive a world-class experience for our clients and partners
  • Strong understanding of Agile processes and tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead the M&A product team

  • Ensure end-to-end requirements are clearly documented and prioritized
  • Maintain visibility and tracking of deal roadmap to an on-time and on-budget execution - oversee successful execution
  • Ensure upstream & downstream dependencies are understood and documented
  • Manage financials for the deal
  • Triage and resolve complex issues with a client-first mindset
  • Manage multiple client relationships
  • Build playbooks, standardize integration processes, and implement process improvements
