About The Position

The Vice President of Treasury & Business Solutions will lead the creation, development, and ongoing management of a comprehensive suite of treasury management products and services for business and commercial customers. This leader will drive non-interest income, increase share of wallet, deepen customer relationships, and expand access to solutions that support payments, deposits, cash flow management, merchant services, business online banking, and other treasury management needs. The role will also support outside business calls with regional business development managers and other line of business partners to identify customer and prospect needs and present appropriate treasury management solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School or GED
  • 7+ years’ experience in treasury management, financial services management, business and product development, business banking, commercial banking, or related financial services functions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining treasury management product roadmaps, customer onboarding frameworks, pricing strategies, and adoption plans.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in Treasury Management, merchant services, business online banking, commercial banking, or Financial Services Product Development.
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems, business customer onboarding, merchant services platforms, payment services, or cash management solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a clear and deep understanding of HOPE’s business, commercial, and treasury management products and services, and support effective onboarding experience for business and commercial customers.
  • Lead, support, and participate in strategic sales conversations with business customers, commercial customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify treasury management needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in joint member and prospect calls with regional business development managers, commercial lenders, retail leaders, and other line of business partners to assess treasury management needs, recommend solutions, and support relationship growth.
  • Prepare for and follow up on joint calling activity by documenting customer needs, proposed treasury solutions, next steps, revenue opportunities, and partner accountability.
  • Monitor onboarding, adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and growth.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and feedback to inform treasury management product strategy and service enhancements.
  • Drive accountability for outcomes from business and commercial customer engagements, including non-interest income growth, product adoption, and increased share of wallet.
  • Ensure treasury management products, services, and onboarding practices align with financial regulations, compliance standards, risk expectations, and HOPE’s mission.
  • Create, develop, and manage a suite of treasury management products and services designed to meet the needs of business and commercial customers.
  • Establish and grow merchant services, business online banking, and other treasury management solutions that support payments, deposits, cash flow management, and customer convenience.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify treasury management trends, product gaps, pricing opportunities, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Develop product roadmaps, pricing recommendations, adoption goals, and performance measures that drive non-interest income and increase share of wallet.
  • Ensure all treasury management product efforts comply with applicable regulations, vendor requirements, risk standards, and internal policies.
  • Work closely with retail, commercial, marketing, operations, compliance, legal, and support teams to align treasury management strategies, product launches, service delivery, and shared accountability for customer and revenue outcomes.
  • Provide training, support, and resources to Retail, Commercial, and other departments to promote treasury management solutions and strengthen customer conversations.
  • Lead the development and expansion of Treasury Management Services, including merchant services, online business banking, payments-related solutions, and other services for business customers.
  • Partner with regional business development managers and other line of business partners on outside calling efforts to expand treasury management relationships with existing members and new prospects.
  • Support vendor management and build strong external partnerships to drive product enhancements, service quality, risk management, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop treasury management product messaging, sales campaigns, and customer education materials for business and commercial customers.
  • Create sales tools and materials that communicate treasury management value, customer benefits, pricing, and service capabilities.
  • Communicate product performance, revenue results, customer adoption, and pipeline updates to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
