About The Position

The Vice President of Supply Chain Planning & Analytics builds and scales a best‑in‑class data, analytics, and AI capability that improves performance across the end‑to‑end supply chain—service, inventory, speed, reliability, and cost‑to‑serve. This role does not own demand planning, production planning, or merchandise buying decisions. Instead, it serves as the Supply Chain decision‑intelligence and orchestration engine, enabling faster and better decisions by building analytics products, reporting, tools, and digital models (including a digital supply chain twin) that functional teams use to run and improve the business. The role also owns select planning‑adjacent analytics capabilities that directly connect Supply Chain Planning & Analytics to the business, ensuring strong understanding of how inventory, capacity, and flow decisions impact service and cost outcomes. The role is accountable for global Supply Chain reporting and analytics and partners closely with Distribution & Logistics leaders to drive measurable operational improvement.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning enablement, or transformation.
  • Proven track record delivering analytics‑driven operational improvement.
  • Experience leading global teams and partnering with technology organizations.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and analytics architectures.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technology organizations and shape data and analytics priorities without direct ownership.
  • Working knowledge of AI / ML concepts and their application to supply chain automation, forecasting, optimization, and decision support.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts and the ability to translate planning needs into scalable analytics and technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Decision Intelligence & Orchestration Build the decision‑intelligence layer across supply chain planning and execution. Enable cross‑functional orchestration without owning execution. Translate complexity into clear service, cost, speed, and risk trade‑offs. Provide end‑to‑end visibility to inventory flow from global origin through distribution centers to stores and customers.
  • Inventory Flow Planning & Visibility Own analytics and projections for inventory flow from global sourcing and origin through distribution centers to stores and customers. Provide forward‑looking visibility to distribution center capacity, inventory velocity, and constraints. Partner with Transportation and Logistics teams to provide shipment volume forecasts and shipping estimates that support network and capacity decisions. Serve as a key connective tissue between Supply Chain Planning & Analytics and the broader business, ensuring analytics roadmaps are grounded in real operational and commercial needs.
  • S&OP / IBP Enablement Provide analytics, scenarios, and decision support for S&OP / IBP in partnership with Merchandise Planning and Inventory Management. Enable fact‑based, forward‑looking decision making without owning plans. Support cross‑functional alignment by linking inventory flow, capacity, and service scenarios into executive decision forums.
  • Digital Supply Chain Twin & Scenario Modeling Lead supply chain use cases for a digital supply chain twin. Enable scenario planning, stress testing, and disruption modeling. Extend scenario modeling beyond near‑term trade‑offs to longer‑term network, capacity, speed, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Network Modeling & Design Develop and maintain network models to evaluate distribution footprint, capacity strategy, service levels, and cost‑to‑serve over multi‑year horizons. Support decisions on distribution center location, flow paths, capacity investments, and network resiliency. Partner with Distribution & Logistics and Finance to evaluate strategic trade‑offs using data‑driven scenarios.
  • Distribution & Logistics Analytics Own analytics and reporting for global Distribution & Logistics. Partner with Distribution & Logistics leaders to improve service, productivity, and cost‑to‑serve. Enable data‑driven inventory positioning across distribution centers, including movement of product between DCs based on capacity, demand fulfillment, and service objectives, without owning buy or merchandise decisions.
  • Enterprise Supply Chain Reporting Own end‑to‑end supply chain reporting and insights. Build self‑serve and AI‑powered reporting capabilities.
  • AI Enablement & Pilot Deployment Lead supply chain AI pilots from use case definition through scale. Establish a repeatable pilot‑to‑scale operating model. Ensure pilots deliver measurable operational impact.
  • Operating Model & Partnerships Partner closely with Technology, Enterprise Data, and Analytics teams. Own supply chain use cases, adoption, and value realization. Influence enterprise data architecture and tooling to ensure supply chain data platforms support current and future planning, automation, and decision‑intelligence needs. Co‑develop the supply chain analytics and technology roadmap with IT to meet both near‑term operational needs and longer‑term digital transformation goals.
  • Team & Global Talent Hubs Build and lead a high‑performing global analytics team. Leverage talent hubs in Bangalore, Warsaw, and Mexico.
