VP, Strategy and Operations

KanbrickNashville, TN

About The Position

This role is a senior position within the Kanbrick Business System (KBS) team, focusing on working directly inside partner companies. The role involves three main areas: CEO Partnership, Hands-On Value Creation, and Community Building. The goal is to build real partnerships with company CEOs and their teams, engage in practical work within their businesses alongside the KBS team, and contribute to shaping a firm focused on long-term success. Kanbrick is a long-term investment partnership that supports the growth of family and founder-led businesses through the Kanbrick Business System (KBS). Founded on the principle of being the option they wished existed for their own families' businesses, Kanbrick emphasizes a decades-long horizon, an operating team that performs the work, and truly win/win partnerships. The team collaborates closely with leaders of partner companies using KBS, a tailored approach for managing midsize businesses. Additionally, Kanbrick fosters a community for CEOs and owners of family and founder-led businesses to learn and grow together. Joining Kanbrick offers the chance to build a career on work that compounds, contributing to enduring businesses where accomplishments are not undone by sales but continue to grow. The company values capability, character, and culture, guided by principles of acting as owners, continuous improvement, integrity, and teamwork.
