The Vice President, Strategic Intelligence & Market Insights is responsible for building and leading an enterprise capability that identifies, interprets, and translates market, competitive, customer, technology, regulatory, and ecosystem intelligence into strategic business action. Reporting to the EVP, Enterprise Strategy, Ventures & Innovation and serving as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this leader will establish a modern, enterprise-wide intelligence function that enables leadership to anticipate change, identify opportunities, mitigate emerging risks, and make more informed strategic decisions. The VP will develop a comprehensive understanding of the evolving healthcare ecosystem, including market concentration dynamics, emerging competitors, adjacent industry disruption, technology innovation, regulatory developments, customer needs, and shifting sources of value creation. By connecting signals across the broader ecosystem, this leader will help the enterprise understand not only what is happening today, but where markets are heading, how industry structures and value pools may evolve, and what strategic actions and investments are required to create future competitive advantage. This leader will also cultivate a robust external network across healthcare, technology, innovation, venture, academic, provider, payer, and startup ecosystems to bring real-world insights and emerging perspectives into the organization. Through active engagement with industry leaders, ecosystem partners, investors, entrepreneurs, academics, and innovators, the VP will establish a continuous flow of external learning that complements market intelligence and strengthens the enterprise's ability to anticipate and respond to change. This leader will build scalable intelligence infrastructure that integrates internal and external data sources, accelerates the identification of meaningful signals, and enables faster, more predictive insights that support enterprise strategy, innovation, investment, and growth decisions. Equally important, this role will serve as the enterprise's applied learning engine, ensuring intelligence is translated into tangible business outcomes. The VP will create mechanisms that move insights beyond reporting and into action by informing enterprise strategy, capital allocation, innovation priorities, partnership decisions, product direction, and growth investments. Success will be measured not only by the quality of intelligence generated, but by the organization's ability to learn, adapt, and act on external signals faster and more effectively than competitors. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board, the Vice President will foster a stronger external orientation across the enterprise, helping leaders anticipate future trends, evaluate strategic choices, shape long-term strategic bets, and position the organization to capture emerging opportunities in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
