About The Position

This is a remote position that is based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management. The VP Sales Strategy & Solutions will partner with Sales leadership and frontline sellers to operationalize sales strategy into tangible customer facing assets, workflows, and solution narratives. This role involves developing illustrative models, diagrams, and conceptual frameworks that demonstrate how products function within a prospect’s real-world environment. The individual will act as a strategic extension of the sales team by helping “sell the solution,” not just the product, and design structured methods for guiding prospects through presales “homework”, including documenting their current state processes. They will translate customer provided inputs into low code / no code workflow representations, collaborate with internal teams to layer in future state improvements, automation opportunities, and AI enabled enhancements, and serve as a translator of AI concepts, explaining how AI, data, and automation can be practically applied to customer use cases. The role requires close collaboration with Strategy, Product, Marketing and Technology teams to ensure AI offerings are market ready, customer understandable, and executable, and partnering with Product Management to influence roadmap and packaging based on customer insights. Collaboration with Technology teams to validate feasibility and execution pathways for proposed solutions, and support for go-to market initiatives by ensuring product concepts are demonstrated in ways that resonate with real buyer scenarios are also key. The position will equip Sales teams with repeatable frameworks, tools, and narratives that improve consistency and confidence in customer engagements, act as a trusted advisor internally on how to position emerging capabilities—especially AI—in a credible and pragmatic manner, and contribute to executive level discussions on how strategy translates into field execution. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales strategy, business development, or sales management, preferably in B2B or financial services.
  • Proven success in leading sales teams focused on enterprise or large institutional clients.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and executive relationship management skills.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and workflow.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical and AI concepts in simple, business‑relevant terms.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, Strategy, and Technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers and internal stakeholders understand the power of AI, where it creates value in their workflow, and how AI integrates into existing operational models.
  • Work closely with Strategy, Product, Marketing and Technology teams to ensure AI offerings are market ready, customer understandable, and executable.
  • Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap and packaging based on customer insights uncovered during the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to validate feasibility and execution pathways for proposed solutions.
