Requirements

  • Proven experience in relationship management, account management or client services.
  • Strong strategic sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 10-15+ years of sales leadership and/or relationship management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in private aviation, luxury services, or high-net-worth client management.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Strategic thinker with a persuasive, client-first mindset.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to a cross-functional pod, driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee sales performance, manage key member relationships, and lead initiatives to enhance the overall Wheels Up client experience.
  • Establish strategic plans and objectives focusing on organic and inorganic growth.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and achieve organizational goals.
  • Ownership of sales targets for specified business unit or region.
  • Forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to executive leadership.
  • Lead a pod of cross-functional team members with full accountability for client satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, proactively managing re-deposits, upsells, and renewals.
  • Convert qualified leads into new Wheels Up members through consultative selling and relationship development.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for high-touch service, including onboarding, trip planning, and post-flight follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Client Support and Trip Support to resolve day-of-travel issues and ensure seamless execution.
