About The Position

SS&C Intralinks is the premier fintech platform for capital markets, M&A, and alternative investments — trusted by the world's leading investment banks, asset managers, and funds to power their most consequential transactions and fund operations. Our Alternative Investments business serves general partners, limited partners, fund administrators, and placement agents across the full fund lifecycle. We are a large, profitable global business investing aggressively in AI-powered product innovation. This is a rare opportunity to own a segment that matters. The goal is straightforward: double the business in under three years. This VP of Product Management will own the full product strategy and execution for Intralinks' Alternative Investments segment — covering fund management, investor relations, LP data rooms, DDQ automation, and AI-powered diligence workflows. You will lead a team of product managers, partner closely with Engineering, Design, GTM, and Sales, and report directly into the SVP of Product and Design. You will own outcomes, not just output.

Requirements

Fluency in the alternative investments ecosystem — fund management, LP/GP dynamics, fund operations, DDQ workflows, capital calls, or diligence.
10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role at a global SaaS business.
A genuine GTM orientation. You understand that shipping is table stakes — winning market share is the job.
AI product experience. You've worked with LLMs, generative AI, or intelligent automation in a product context — not just as a talking point.
A proven ability to uncover unmet customer needs and translate them into roadmap decisions that create real differentiation.
Clear, direct, written and verbal communication. You can write a strategy brief, run an executive review, and give a hard message to a team member — all in the same day.
A track record of building and holding teams accountable — with the emotional intelligence to develop people, not just manage them.

Responsibilities

Set the strategic vision for the Alternative Investments product portfolio and translate it into a disciplined, customer-validated roadmap — anchored in unmet needs, not feature requests.
Drive the full product lifecycle — from market insight and ideation through launch, adoption, and growth.
Understand what winning looks like commercially, not just technically.
Lead AI product strategy for the segment. Know how LLMs, generative AI, and conversational interfaces are reshaping fund operations and diligence — and build for where the market is going, not where it is.
Own the P&L mindset. Understand pricing, competitive positioning, revenue impact, and what it takes to move the number.
Be the voice of the customer inside the building. Run discovery with GPs, LPs, and fund administrators. Challenge your own assumptions constantly.
Lead and develop your product team. Hold them accountable, invest in their growth, create clarity of ownership, and build a culture where results matter more than activity.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Success as a true partner — not a gatekeeper.
Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and decisions with clarity up, down, and across the organization.
