About The Position

The Vice President, Product Management - Commercial Banking is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of key banking products across commercial segments. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to translate customer needs, market insights, and business strategy into scalable, compliant, and profitable banking solutions. This position plays a critical role in shaping product roadmaps, driving execution excellence, and serving as a key stakeholder liaison across technology, operations, risk, compliance, sales, and customer experience. We have a flexible work schedule where employees can work from home one day a week.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 8 years of product management experience within banking or financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of cash management, treasury services and financial technology products, services and trends.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and deal with time pressures and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product management for assigned commercial banking products, from discovery through launch and lifecycle management
  • Partner with the FVP to define and execute product roadmaps aligned to bank strategy, growth objectives, and customer needs
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation, modernization, and expansion across commercial segments
  • Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and prioritization
  • Translate customer pain points and business needs into clear product value propositions
  • Leverage data, insights, and feedback loops to continuously improve product experience and outcomes
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization frameworks
  • Lead cross-functional execution with technology, operations, risk, compliance, marketing, and servicing teams
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product initiatives within scope and budget
  • Partner closely with risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure products meet regulatory, policy, and operational standards
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle
  • Balance innovation with sound risk management and operational resilience
  • Define product success metrics (KPIs), monitor performance, and drive data-driven decisions
  • Assess financial impact, profitability, pricing, and cost considerations for product initiatives
  • Use insights to optimize product performance and inform future roadmap decisions
  • Serve as a trusted product partner to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver clear, executive-ready presentations, business cases, and product updates
  • Influence decision-making through strong storytelling, data, and structured communication
  • Contribute to building strong product management standards, processes, and culture
