About The Position

The Vice President of Curated Technology Services leads the combined infrastructure, networking, and service delivery organization as one team, the engineers who design and build, and the service team who operates and supports. This role exists because our promise is only as strong as the organization behind it. You bring senior, day-in-day-out leadership to a talented team, close the gap between engineering and service delivery, and raise the bar from "close the ticket" to "solve the customer's real problem." As the technology industry reinvents itself around AI, you help lead Summit's shift toward a more consultative practice, guiding customers through decisions instead of just maintaining their environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise or mid-market technology roles centered on the Microsoft stack (Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra, Intune, Teams).
  • 5+ years leading technical teams, including experience managing 8 or more direct and indirect reports.
  • Hands-on migration and transformation experience: tenant onboarding, cloud migrations, identity and access, device management.
  • Solid working knowledge of networking (routing, switching, wireless, ISP operations); depth in every protocol isn't required, judgment is.
  • Experience operating in or alongside an MSP or multi-customer service delivery environment.
  • Fluency with AI tooling (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) as a working instrument, not a novelty.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Current Microsoft certifications strongly preferred, with a commitment to continue certifying after hire.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and unify the infrastructure, networking, and service delivery teams into a single high-performing organization.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and structured one-on-ones for your direct reports, and build development plans that grow your team leads into leaders.
  • Own hiring, performance management, and accountability for the CTS organization.
  • Build the operational bridge between engineering and service delivery: documented SOPs, clean handoffs, continuous improvement.
  • Set the service standard: solve the root cause, not just the symptom, and own escalations so no customer feels like a ticket number.
  • Champion a certification culture across the team, with primary and secondary owners for every major Microsoft workload.
  • Help build Summit's consultative technology-leadership offering and develop executive level relationships at key customers.
  • Drive adoption of the Microsoft and AI platform capabilities Summit already owns, internally and for customers.
