About The Position

Town & Country Living is a global leader in home décor, textiles, and design with over 60 years of industry experience, offering excellence in sales, design, development, sourcing, supply chain efficiencies, customer service, and e-commerce fulfillment. The company provides diverse multi-product assortments across all home categories to retail partners, responding quickly to market needs. The Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive top-line growth and operating profit. This is a high-performing leadership role requiring experience selling home textiles to leading omnichannel retailers and strong skills in Product and People Management. A strong preference is given to candidates with current or prior experience with off-price retailers, including the TJX Corporation.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to drive change and lead cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales management position, including managing multiple teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Current or prior experience with off price retailers including the TJX Corporation.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Company’s products, competitive products and the market is an asset.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve account and company financial objectives.
  • Identify categories, products, and brands that capitalize on white space opportunities to increase retailer penetration. Understand the nuances of merchandise mix.
  • Establish and monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze POS data and market and competitor trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across all divisions and regions.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Design, and Sourcing to build product solutions that fulfill consumer/retailer white space need.
  • Partner with Planning to develop accurate short and long-term forecasts.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor direct reports to drive performance and exceed sales targets.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales and business development.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the sales organization.
  • Embrace and embody company core values within daily work.
