About The Position

Narmi is seeking a VP of Product to oversee the entire Product organization, including Product Management, Design, and Product Operations. This role will own the multi-year product vision and quarterly roadmap, influencing how millions of Americans interact with their money. The VP of Product will report directly to a co-founder and collaborate with company leadership to define and achieve strategic goals. This is a hands-on role expected to operate at all levels, from shaping long-term direction to addressing detailed issues. The VP will partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand market dynamics and shape the product story to be a competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Led product (and ideally design) at a high-growth B2B or fintech company and have seen what “good” actually looks like
  • Expertise with banking in the United States via direct experience at a bank, credit union, neobank or vendor to financial services
  • Shipped real products and know how to get teams across the finish line
  • Strong product taste and a deep respect for design and user experience
  • Understand how product connects to revenue, not just usage
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions without perfect information
  • Can push back on founders and executives when needed, and do it in a way that builds trust
  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex ideas and create alignment across teams
  • Care deeply about building great teams and holding a high performance bar

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and make it real
  • Define and evolve the product vision for the Narmi platform across the entire suite of products
  • Work with product teams to translate strategy into clear priorities, tradeoffs, and roadmaps that teams can execute against
  • Ensure our product direction is tightly aligned to company goals, especially revenue and customer impact
  • Turn product into a competitive advantage
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand what’s winning and where we’re losing
  • Shape the product story in a way that resonates with buyers and differentiates us in the market
  • Be able to represent Narmi’s product to customers, prospects, and partners
  • Work with Engineering to drive innovation
  • Lead Product and Design as one system
  • Build and manage a high-performing team across product management, product operations and product design
  • Raise the bar on product thinking, quality, design and decision-making across the team
  • Ensure strong partnership with Engineering
  • Drive execution and accountability
  • Hold a high bar for shipping quality products on time
  • Identify where we’re getting stuck (process, people, priorities) and fix it
  • Create clarity when things are ambiguous and make decisions that move the business forward
  • Be a force multiplier for the company
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to align on priorities
  • Bring structure to how we evaluate opportunities, partnerships, and investments
  • Help build the systems and processes we need to scale from Series B to the next stage
