Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role, such as Director or VP of Operations, preferably within the mortgage or financial services industry.
• A comprehensive understanding of mortgage industry processes and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for process optimisation.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial analysis.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing operational strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company’s strategic goals.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the operations teams to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Overseeing the daily workflow of key business functions, including mortgage processing and client services, to ensure targets are met.
• Analysing operational processes and identifying opportunities for enhancement, automation, and increased efficiency.
• Managing departmental budgets, forecasting requirements, and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Ensuring full compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborating with other executive team members to align operational activities with broader business objectives.
• Monitoring and reporting on operational performance, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making.
