About The Position

The VP of Distribution and Logistics will lead a growing, multi-site warehouse and distribution network. The role is responsible for operational excellence, scalability, customer service, and financial performance across warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and logistics operations. The position calls for an experienced operations leader who has managed multi-location distribution environments, implemented process improvements, developed high-performing teams, and led organizations through growth and change. The VP will establish consistent standards and performance measures across locations, manage operating and financial results, develop warehouse leaders, and improve the end-to-end customer experience in partnership with other departments. The role will also lead integration efforts for acquired operations and assess warehouse infrastructure to support long-term growth. The position is based in Ridgeland, Mississippi; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; or Cleveland, Ohio.

Requirements

Significant leadership experience managing multiple warehouses, distribution centers, or fulfillment operations.
Strong financial acumen, including experience managing operating budgets and P&L performance.
Proven success improving operational efficiency, inventory management, and warehouse productivity.
Experience implementing warehouse technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to standardize processes and drive performance across multiple locations.
Strong leadership and team development experience, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Strong customer-service mindset and ability to partner across functions.
Hands-on leadership style and ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution.
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; relevant leadership experience and proven results are valued.

Responsibilities

Lead warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and logistics operations across a multi-site distribution network.
Establish operating standards, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive consistency and accountability.
Improve inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
Own financial performance, including labor productivity, operating costs, profitability, and P&L management.
Develop and coach warehouse leaders while building a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Create standardized processes across existing and newly integrated locations.
Identify and implement technology, automation, and process improvements that enhance productivity, visibility, and scalability.
Lead integration efforts for acquired operations and develop repeatable integration processes.
Partner with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and other departments to improve the end-to-end customer experience.
Evaluate warehouse infrastructure and recommend strategies to support long-term growth.
