About The Position

The VP of Corporate Communication will play a crucial role in strategically shaping and externally communicating the Kernel’s unique value proposition in the market. Operating at the intersection of technology and communication, you will connect, engage, and align employees, clients, and stakeholders to the Company's strategic initiatives and culture.

Requirements

• A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field, with a Master’s degree preferred
• A strong work experience of 10+ years in corporate communication roles, with previous experience in executive or senior management positions
• Strong understanding of the communication landscape, having successful strategies and execution plans in past roles
• Experience with new media and internet distribution channels
• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Ability to influence at senior levels within the organization
• Experience managing a diverse team of professionals with multiple backgrounds and expertise

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the corporate communication team across various strategies and projects
• Oversee all communications outcomes for the company – from media relations, internal communications, crisis communications, to corporate brand reputation management
• Drive communications strategy and execution, coordinating with other executives for the corporation's baseline communications, including press releases, company announcements, and executive presentations
• Collaboration with top management in developing responses to media inquiries and with crisis management
• Evaluate every marketing and communication program and suggest improvements to reach a wider audience
• Initiate and supervise the Kernel brand's corporate social responsibility initiatives
