VP of Communications

LENS Inc.Los Angeles, CA

About The Position

LENS's mission is to end traffic accidents by detecting hazards before they happen. The LENS Detect platform scans CCTV feeds on highways to identify hazards like Disabled Vehicles, Stalled Big Rigs, and Pedestrians on Freeway in real-time. Public Safety agencies and Departments of Transportation receive alerts, and a dispatcher validates the detection to dispatch an officer, thereby preventing accidents or saving lives. This role is for a VP of Communications who seeks transformational change and believes that accidents, when their root cause can be known in advance, should be prevented. This individual will work with a team of 'Preventers' who share this core belief.

  • Delivering communications outcomes that build trust with government agency partners - where credibility, consistency, and careful message management are non-negotiable.
  • Executive communications and media coaching - experience preparing CEOs and senior leaders for press, public appearances, and high-stakes stakeholder engagements.
  • Crisis communications - proven ability to manage sensitive situations with speed, clarity, and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Being a senior management member, working alongside other senior operators to advance a meaningful, mission-driven cause.

Responsibilities
