Reporting to the EVP, Media & Growth, this role blends high-level business development with hands-on leadership of media strategy and pitch execution. The VP will collaborate across MissionOne Media and BarkleyOKRP, orchestrating pitch engagements, strengthening internal and external relationships, and ensuring the agency remains at the forefront of media innovation and growth. Reports to: EVP, Media & Growth The Role Growth Leadership & Business Development Lead the agency’s business development initiatives for full-funnel Media AOR and related engagements, from initial outreach through RFI/RFP, pitch, and post-pitch transition. Develop and implement growth strategies in partnership with agency leadership, ensuring alignment with MissionOne Media’s capabilities and market opportunities. Oversee and guide the pitch process, including narrative development, team casting, timeline management, and production of credentials and proposal materials. Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry consultants, prospective clients, and key stakeholders to drive new business opportunities and keep the agency top-of-mind in the marketplace. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving client needs to inform and adapt business development strategies. Media & Account Leadership Demonstrate deep understanding of media strategy, investment, and optimization across all channels, collaborating with subject matter experts to develop innovative solutions for client pitches and organic growth. Serve as executive lead on select media clients, overseeing account health, strategic direction, and growth opportunities. Partner with executive leadership to develop and activate pitch teams, ensuring the right expertise and resources are deployed for each opportunity. Support the integration of growth practice with the broader agency network, sharing best practices and leveraging global capabilities. Team Management & Collaboration Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance. Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams (Media, Analytics, CRM, Strategy, Creative, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of business development and client initiatives. Champion MissionOne Media’s interests with partners and consultants, positioning the agency favorably for new opportunities. Mentor team members and provide strategic guidance across select accounts, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the agency.
