As a member of the professional staff, this position contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Global Technology, Resort Operations and Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department business objectives. Generally, works with considerable independence, producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision-making process, developing operating plans and related operational processes for own department and monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with broader business objectives, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, and leading own organization through reliable systems and processes. The Vice President, Marketing & Sales Development – Americas (“the VP”) is a strategic, enterprise-level leader responsible for designing and executing a best-in-class recruitment and training strategy across all business units in the Americas. The position will build scalable recruiting infrastructure, elevate employer brand, and ensure the organization attracts, selects, and retains top-tier talent aligned with the company’s growth strategy and performance culture. It will: Proactively identify and address hiring needs. Manage a team of recruiters and provide assistance as needed. Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies to attract diverse candidates. Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs. Organize recruitment events to establish a strong employer brand. This position will require travel as necessary within the US and abroad to meet business goals and will be based out of the MVW Headquarters in Orlando or a suitable alternative MVW location. The VP will report into the SVP Marketing & Sales Development - Americas.
