About The Position

The Vice President, International Sales is responsible for developing and executing Argen's global commercial strategy outside of North America while driving sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability. This role provides strategic direction for international sales operations, distributor management, regional business development, and commercial execution across global markets. Additionally, this role will build strong distributor and customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and lead a high-performing international sales organization aligned with Argen's long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive international sales leadership experience, with demonstrated responsibility for developing and executing global commercial strategies.
  • Proven track record of growing international revenue through distributors, dealers, channel partners, and strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience developing and implementing international market expansion strategies and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Strong strategic planning, commercial, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing multicultural teams across multiple international regions.
  • Experience managing distributor networks, channel partner performance, and strategic account growth.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to develop effective business strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel internationally approximately 30% of the time.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Dental, medical device, healthcare, or other highly regulated manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Argen’s international commercial strategy to achieve long-term revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify the global markets with the greatest opportunity for expansion and develop strategies to maximize growth based on revenue potential, competitive landscape, and strategic fit.
  • Establish regional growth strategies, annual business plans, and sales objectives.
  • Monitor international market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
  • Develop annual sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics for international markets.
  • Develop and implement a standardized global distributor management program, including partner selection, performance expectations, exclusivity guidelines, product portfolio management, and territory planning.
  • Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain high-performing distributor partners.
  • Drive international revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
  • Provide strategic leadership for international business operations across key global regions, including: Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the international sales organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and high performance.
  • Coach regional sales leaders to strengthen commercial capabilities and leadership effectiveness.
  • Establish performance expectations, succession planning, and professional development initiatives for the international sales team.
  • Partner with Argen subsidiaries to maximize growth opportunities and support Company products.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service, Finance, and Executive Leadership to execute global commercial initiatives.
  • Develop and manage international sales budgets and operating expenses.
  • Monitor sales performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), forecasts, dashboards, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, international trade regulations, and applicable local business requirements.
