The VP, Integrated Investment is an expert in digital marketing and buying across all digital channels, serving as a thought leader on emerging practices. This role requires high visibility, representing the best of Horizon Media both internally and externally. The VP will provide agency POVs and client thought leadership on current industry topics. A core responsibility is maintaining excellent relationships with clients, internal agency contacts, and external partners. The VP will also lead departmental projects, represent the agency at industry events, and bring back learnings. This role involves maintaining balanced work structures, managing staff resources, and building a high-performing team. The VP is expected to contribute to new business efforts, including RFI submissions and pitch work.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience developing strategic media recommendations and stewarding digital media account projects, acting as a client contact.
  • Clear understanding of building brands and driving acquisition, and how they connect.
  • Extensive experience leading direct client interaction and relationships.
  • Previous experience working in a cross-functional capacity, liaising with Account Management leadership.
  • Experienced buyer of linear television and CTV.
  • Well-versed in today’s privacy landscape, including the use of established and emerging cookieless solutions to reach consumers.
  • Knowledgeable in DMP/CDPs; experience working with agency data platforms.
  • Expert in negotiating and constructing digital media plans, with an understanding of planning, buying, and activation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to confidently present and “sell through” ideas.
  • Strong experience and principles navigating cross-department relationships.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience in terms of developing media professionals, including strategic and people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive and efficient relationship with clients, internal agency contacts, and external agency partners.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the integrated media landscape, including linear, video, audio, social, SEM, SEO, mobile, programmatic, connected TV, gaming, augmented reality, Affiliate, Influencer, and Analytics.
  • Manage multiple accounts/teams, demonstrating strong managerial skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and support.
  • Encourage an environment of collaboration and entrepreneurship.
  • Guide clients and internal teams in educating them on evolving concepts and integrated executions within the industry, acting as a trusted resource.
  • Lead the Performance Coach process by identifying overall team goals and ensuring individual team goals cascade.
  • Optimize resource management.
  • Track and ensure all client savings goals are achieved.
  • Advocate for HMI initiatives/resources such as the Analytics team, HX, and Where/Why teams.
  • Lead departmental projects, including agency deals, POVs, and process creation.
  • Support fellow HMI digital leadership by sharing knowledge, such as case studies and processes.
  • Participate in industry conferences, speaking events, and committees.
  • Lead award submissions.
  • Actively participate in written RFI responses and case studies.
  • Lead or participate in new business pitches.
