About The Position

The VP, Growth will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Growth Officer, acting as a key driver of growth initiatives and a central liaison across executive leadership. This role combines high-level business development responsibilities with operational oversight, ensuring seamless execution of growth strategies, new business pursuits, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, growth strategy, or client leadership within marketing, media, or consulting environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, high-value opportunities and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills; adept at balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.
  • Experience with financial modeling, pipeline management, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Growth Leadership Oversee the team responsible for delivering annual revenue goals for new logo acquisition and organic growth.
  • Monitor and report on progress toward a +25% YOY growth forecast, providing weekly updates to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Opportunity Evaluation & Pipeline Management Assess inbound opportunities using a structured scorecard and Growth team bandwidth analysis.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and support strategic prioritization of opportunities.
  • Pitch & Proposal Management Lead the end-to-end process for high-profile pitches, including coordination with C-suite stakeholders, development of materials, financial modeling, onboarding, and transition planning.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Cross-Selling Initiatives Collaborate with dentsu Media business development teams (Carat, dentsuX, dentsu Group) and Merkle to identify and activate cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work with network C-suite leaders to establish best practices for integrated solutions across media, creative, and CRM.
  • Executive Operations Act as a proxy for the CGO in global and North America new business discussions, ensuring timely updates and alignment across leadership.
  • Provide inputs for budget planning, pipeline analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Support preparation for monthly Town Halls and growth-related communications.
  • Marketing & Thought Leadership Partner with leadership and marketing to develop growth-driven strategies, including outbound campaigns and participation in major industry events (CES, ANA Master of Marketing, Cannes Lions, 4A’s, etc.).
