About The Position

Pushly has created the most powerful push notification platform in the market today helping publishers, brands, and e-retailers generate incremental subscriptions, sales, and ad revenue. To achieve this, Pushly works with its partners to generate custom features, and creative content strategies, and to execute brand initiatives. Pushly's platform enables partners to communicate with subscribers on both desktop and mobile devices. Utilizing the power of push notifications, publishers and brands generate increased content views, lift in product sales, and paid site subscriptions, and drive successful audience/customer retention campaigns. Visitors can become Pushly Push Notification subscribers without downloading an app, submitting an email address, or providing any personally identifiable information. The VP Global Partnerships reports into the SVP of Global Partnerships and generates incremental revenue while developing business strategies for the Pushly Platform. This remote role is based in New York City metropolitan area.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of directly selling products or services to media companies, digital publishers, and/or e-retail is preferred
  • Experience selling and working with CRO's, Editors in Chief, Heads of Revenue, Product teams, and Audience Development within Publishing organizations
  • Proven success at building and managing a sales pipeline to achieve and exceed targeted goals
  • Proven ability to solution sell
  • Proven ability to manage full funnel sales activity
  • Strong analytical skills to develop forecasting and pricing to prospective clients
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of current market trends and challenges within digital publishing and e-retail
  • Experience operating remotely and open to the travel needed for the business
  • Ability to communicate client feedback and feature requests with the rest of the team to help prioritize product development efforts
  • Drive to identify and uncover new revenue-generating opportunities with clients and across digital solutions.
  • Competent in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM Platforms with a willingness to learn and leverage new sales tools and internal analytics software solutions (e.g. Tableau )
  • Acquires understanding and absorbs new information quickly and is motivated to learn
  • Provides satisfaction for both internal and external customers and creates meaningful partner relationships

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within our target market, including content marketers, media publishers, agencies, and e-retail brands.
  • Conduct presentations and comprehensive demonstrations of our platform to secure and onboard new clients.
  • Collaborate with the compliance, legal, and account management teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new clients and facilitate their launch on the Pushly platform.
  • As appropriate, work with the account management team to help develop new revenue channels and growth initiatives with existing clients.
  • Contribute to ensuring that the Pushly team is well-informed about client needs, feedback, and feature requests.
  • Attend key industry events and establish contacts with influential industry players, including publishers, brands and retailers/e-retailers, to promote Pushly as the leading, most innovative web and app push notification platform with the highest return on investment.
