About The Position
The Vice President of Finance will manage all aspects of the service’s finances, including the budgeting process, reimbursements, and forecasting. This role is crucial in maintaining financial transparency and supporting the strategic decisions of the team through financial analysis and reporting. The Vice President of Finance will gain practical skills in nonprofit financial management, budgeting, and strategic analysis. This role offers an opportunity to influence high-level planning through financial insight.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial tracking
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
Nice To Haves
- Previous finance-related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the SSU budget in collaboration with Co-Chairs
- Process all reimbursements and track expenses
- Ensure compliance with CUS financial procedures
