About The Position

The Vice President, Finance is a key senior leader and strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for shaping enterprise financial strategy and enabling scalable growth in a value-based care environment. This leader will oversee financial planning and analysis, enterprise performance management, and capital planning, translating business strategy into actionable financial insights that drive decision-making across the organization. The VP, Finance operates at the center of the business, partnering with executive leadership across Operations, Clinical, Actuarial, Product, and Business Development to guide investment decisions, optimize performance, and deliver sustainable enterprise value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with significant exposure to FP&A and strategic finance
  • Proven experience operating as a senior finance leader in a high-growth, complex environment (healthcare or value-based care strongly preferred)
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, long-range planning, and scenario analysis
  • Experience supporting capital strategy, investor engagement, or M&A
  • Experience supporting executive-level and Board-level decision-making through analysis, modeling, and insights
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial insights to operational strategy
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams and scalable finance functions

  • Experience in value-based care, risk-based contracting or alternative payment models preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s enterprise financial strategy, aligning long-range planning with organizational goals and growth priorities.
  • Own the company’s long-range financial model, including scenario planning to inform capital allocation, growth investments, and strategic tradeoffs.
  • Partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to translate strategy into measurable financial outcomes.
  • Establish and lead the enterprise performance management framework, including KPIs, reporting, and operating rhythms.
  • Provide insight into business performance, identifying risks and opportunities across markets, service lines, and contracts.
  • Partner with operational and clinical leaders to drive accountability for financial outcomes and continuous performance improvement.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the CFO and senior leadership team on key business decisions, including growth initiatives, market expansion, and partnerships.
  • Lead financial evaluation of new business opportunities, including risk-based contracts, M&A, and strategic investments.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights to support executive and Board-level decision-making.
  • Support capital planning efforts, including investor materials, Board reporting, and financial narrative development.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear insights for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with the CFO on investor relations and external financial communications.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team across FP&A and field finance.
  • Establish scalable processes, tools, and operating models to support continued growth.
  • Develop and mentor finance leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
