About The Position

The VP, Enterprise Applications Leader will be responsible for leading Enterprise Applications within ITG, including Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and a broad portfolio of smaller business applications. Reporting to the CIO, this leader will operate as a senior enterprise technology executive, accountable for stable operations, business transformation, strategic roadmap ownership, stakeholder alignment, financial discipline, and cost efficiency across the enterprise applications portfolio.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including leading Enterprise Applications, Business Systems, or Digital Transformation functions.
• Proven experience leading enterprise application portfolios, including platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and other business-critical enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise application strategies, technology roadmaps, and large-scale business transformation initiatives within a $1B+ global organization.
• Strong experience partnering with senior business executives and stakeholders to align technology investments with business priorities and enterprise outcomes.
• Proven experience leading enterprise application operations, including service delivery, governance, vendor management, managed services, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success building, leading, and developing high-performing global teams, including leaders, architects, engineers, analysts, and application delivery professionals.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and complex technology initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, organizational change leadership, and influencing skills.
• Experience managing large enterprise technology budgets, including applications, vendors, licensing, managed services, and strategic investment planning.
• Proven track record driving cost optimization, application rationalization, operational excellence, and business value realization across enterprise technology portfolios.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their application in IT operations.
• Familiarity with supply chain management or enterprise software solutions.
• Certification in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the full Enterprise Applications portfolio supported by ITG, including Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and other business-critical applications.
• Ensure applications are operated with strong reliability, security, compliance, performance, support discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear ownership, operating rhythms, service management practices, escalation paths, and delivery standards across the enterprise applications landscape.
• Lead global application teams with executive presence, clear accountability, and the ability to influence across ITG delivery, security, infrastructure, data, architecture, and business technology teams to deliver integrated enterprise outcomes.
• Manage vendors, implementation partners, managed service providers, and internal teams to ensure service quality, accountability, and strong execution discipline.
• Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing enterprise applications organization, setting a clear leadership standard for ownership, talent development, delivery discipline, executive communication, and a strong customer-service mindset.
• Serve as a trusted executive partner to senior business leaders across functions, bringing a strategic enterprise perspective to business priorities, pain points, growth needs, and transformation opportunities.
• Work with business stakeholders to define the future-state application roadmap, modernization priorities, investment needs, and sequencing of major initiatives.
• Translate business strategy into scalable technology capabilities, process improvements, automation opportunities, and measurable business outcomes.
• Provide thought leadership on how platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and related applications can simplify operations and transform business processes.
• Build trusted relationships with a diverse set of senior stakeholders, influence decisions in a matrixed environment, and ensure alignment between ITG delivery plans, business expectations, enterprise priorities, and transformation outcomes.
• Lead and support the ITG budget for the Enterprise Applications portfolio, including run costs, project investments, vendor spend, licensing, and managed services.
• Drive cost efficiency across the portfolio by rationalizing applications, improving vendor performance, optimizing licenses, and simplifying delivery models.
• Establish a right-shored delivery model across India and the United States that balances cost, capability, stakeholder proximity, quality, and execution speed.
• Partner with business and ITG leaders to prioritize investments, manage tradeoffs, and ensure application spend is aligned to enterprise value and business outcomes.
• Provide transparent reporting on budget, delivery status, risks, strategic roadmap progress, operational health, and value realization to the CIO and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrate proven executive leadership experience leading enterprise applications in a complex global environment, including the ability to lead through ambiguity, influence diverse stakeholders, make disciplined tradeoff decisions, and hold teams accountable for measurable business and technology outcomes.
