About The Position

The Vice President, Developing & Target Accounts leads the global organization responsible for developing and managing high-potential partnerships with emerging and strategically targeted accounts, including key CROs and Biopharma organizations. This executive oversees a team of Strategic Alliance Directors, CRO Alliance Leaders, and a Senior Director of China Sales, collectively managing the organization's most critical growth-stage relationships. This is a high-visibility executive role requiring exceptional presence and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives both internally and externally, driving initiatives that deliver significant revenue growth and market leadership across developing and target account segments.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in commercial leadership or strategic alliance management within the Life Sciences, CRO, or Biopharma industry, with demonstrated success leading developing and target account partnerships at an executive level.
  • Exceptional executive presence and strategic communication skills, with extensive experience presenting to boards of directors and C-suite executives of major global organizations.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing global teams, including managing Directors and developing executive talent.
  • Deep expertise in CRO and Biopharma commercial dynamics, with demonstrated success driving account growth and innovation initiatives.
  • Outstanding business acumen with a focus on value creation, combined with superior analytical skills and strategic vision.
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing complex commercial models and strategic partnerships that drive significant revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L responsibilities and driving financial performance at scale.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience with complex partnership structures and account expansion strategies within CRO and Biopharma ecosystems.
  • Global experience leading matrix organizations, including exposure to the China Life Sciences market.
  • Advanced expertise in developing account management methodologies and business development best practices.
  • Track record of speaking at major industry events and contributing to thought leadership content.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global Developing & Target Accounts organization, including Strategic Alliance Directors, CRO Alliance Leaders — establishing strategic direction and ensuring execution excellence across all partnership initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive account-level strategy across the global portfolio to drive exceptional revenue growth, setting stretch targets and ensuring achievement across the organization.
  • Provide executive oversight and strategic guidance for the organization's most critical developing and target account partnerships, serving as the primary escalation point for high-stakes partnership decisions.
  • Build and maintain C-suite and board-level relationships across key target accounts, leveraging these connections to create transformative partnership opportunities and drive organizational growth.
  • Lead the Developing & Target Accounts governance framework, including executive steering committees, strategic planning processes, and performance optimization initiatives across the account portfolio.
  • Drive innovation in solution deployment through strategic partnerships, creating commercial frameworks that establish sustainable competitive advantages in the market.
  • Direct resource allocation, budget management, and organizational development across the global Developing & Target Accounts and CRO teams, ensuring optimal performance and growth.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between developing and target account partnerships, CRO relationships, and other commercial channels to maximize total business impact and ensure consistent strategy execution.
  • Represent Signant Health as a thought leader at major industry events, board meetings, and strategic forums, shaping the future direction of key account partnerships.
  • Serve as a key member of the commercial leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy and organizational direction.
