VP Data & AI - CPR
About The Position
This is a senior leadership role within Capgemini Invent’s Data Driven Transformation capability, focused on Consumer Products & Retail clients across North America. As a Vice President, you will be responsible for building and scaling a differentiated Data & AI consulting business, partnering with senior client executives to shape strategy, drive large-scale transformations, and deliver measurable business value. You will lead growth across priority Consumer Products & Retail accounts, owning senior client relationships, originating and selling complex consulting engagements, and overseeing high-impact delivery programs. The role combines thought leadership, commercial leadership, people leadership, and delivery excellence, with a strong emphasis on applied, value-driven AI.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in Data, AI, and Analytics consulting within a large professional services firm
- Deep Consumer Products & Retail industry experience, with strong executive-level client relationships in North America
- A proven track record of originating, selling, and delivering large-scale Data & AI transformation programs
- Experience defining enterprise data and AI strategies aligned to business outcomes and operating models
- A strong understanding of AI trends and how they are reshaping Consumer Products & Retail, including generative AI and advanced analytics
- Demonstrated success operating within a complex, matrixed organization
- High credibility, executive presence, and the ability to influence at all levels
- Commercially minded, with a passion for building and scaling businesses
- Confident in content, yet collaborative and empathetic in style
- Focused on outcomes, value realization, and client impact
- Motivated to coach, develop, and inspire diverse, high-performing teams
Responsibilities
- Serving as a senior leader within the North America Analytics & AI leadership team, shaping strategy, offerings, and investment priorities for Consumer Products & Retail
- Building and managing a sustainable business development pipeline across Consumer Products & Retail clients, with accountability for significant annual consulting revenue
- Establishing trusted, long-term relationships with C-suite and executive leaders across merchandising, supply chain, marketing, commercial, digital, and data organizations
- Inspiring clients to innovate with data, advanced analytics, and AI to drive growth, resilience, and efficiency
- Leading the design of enterprise data and AI strategies that integrate business, technology, and operating model considerations
- Selling, leading, and governing large-scale, multi-disciplinary Data & AI transformation programs
- Creating thought leadership, propositions, and repeatable assets that reinforce Capgemini Invent’s position as a leading Data & AI consultancy in Consumer Products & Retail
- AI-enabled demand forecasting, pricing, and revenue growth management
- Personalization, customer analytics, and digital commerce acceleration
- Supply chain, inventory, and operations analytics powered by AI
- Data platform modernization and AI architecture design
- Responsible AI, governance, and operating model enablement
- Business development: Proposals, pursuits, RFPs, client pitches, and industry events
- Practice building: Recruitment, talent development, offering design, and internal communities of practice
- Thought leadership: Industry points of view, whitepapers, and innovation initiatives
- Learning & development: Continuous growth through training, certifications, and leadership development
