Newsweek is seeking a VP, Content Products to drive the transformation of the organization from a publisher focused on audience reach to one centered on building habitual audience relationships, first-party data, subscriptions, and high-value commercial products. This role will own the end-to-end strategy, development, launch, performance, and commercial success of Newsweek's content product portfolio, including franchises, tentpoles, appointment journalism, interactive products, and recurring editorial products. The goal is to create products that move audiences up the loyalty ladder, increase subscription opportunities, and generate meaningful commercial value. This is a leadership role that requires identifying audience opportunities, defining product concepts, building business cases, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and driving measurable audience and commercial outcomes. The VP will serve as the business owner for the content-product portfolio, working across Editorial, Engineering, Sales, Audience Development, Subscriptions, Analytics, Marketing, and First-Party Data teams. They will be responsible for content-product prioritization and will make recommendations on launch, investment, scaling, and retirement decisions to the Chief Content Officer.
