Role Summary: If you’re a seasoned Commercial Lender who thrives on building strong client relationships and leading high-impact lending strategies, this role is your opportunity to shine. As Vice President, Commercial Lending at TBK Bank, you’ll guide a talented team, oversee complex loan activities, and help shape the growth of our commercial portfolio—all while making a real difference for our clients and communities. Day in the Life: No two days look exactly the same. You might start your morning meeting with prospective clients to discuss financing options, spend your afternoon reviewing loan applications with your credit team, and end the day strategizing on how to expand into new markets. Along the way, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the bank to ensure clients get the best solutions possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance (or equivalent banking experience)
  • 7–10 years of commercial lending experience, including complex deals
  • Formal credit training and strong analytical skills
  • Proven track record of meeting business development goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all direct and indirect commercial loan activities
  • Develop and implement lending policies that align with strategic goals
  • Review and approve loan applications within your authority
  • Negotiate loan terms with clients, ensuring clear and accurate agreements
  • Monitor the loan portfolio to maintain strong credit quality
  • Identify new market opportunities and grow commercial relationships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet business development goals
  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes and compliance requirements
  • Represent TBK Bank in the local professional and business community
