Vice President, Client Sales, Oncology Vertical Job Summary: As a Vice President of Client Sales, you will continue to shape and grow our well-established oncology vertical by cultivating client relationships and identifying new business specifically in the pharmaceutical and early detection/genetic testing sectors. You are stepping into a high growth, highly visible piece of our business and deepening our relationships with clients, and their ad strategy/media buying agencies. You'll rapidly create, validate, and scale revenue for PatientPoint within oncology new to market brands, diagnostics, genetic testing, and genomics. This role is for a commercial hunter who thrives in white space, opens net-new logos, and turns PatientPoint into a proven growth channel for oncology testing companies. Success is defined by new revenue creation, speed to market, and landing accounts that establish PatientPoint as a credible player in this category. Our sales team works hard, plays hard, and delivers results. We have a unique culture that focuses on the team win as well as the individual. Requirements

  • 12+ years experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare media sales, agency account management, or digital marketing with documented net-new revenue wins
  • Deep experience in oncology pharmaceutical and testing companies is a must
  • Proven success in business development/revenue generation
  • Experience selling commercialization solutions beyond pharma (diagnostics, medtech, health data).
  • Prior experience working at oncology diagnostics companies, genomics firms, oncology-focused agencies or platforms and/OR
  • Familiarity with companion diagnostics, biomarker-driven therapies, or genetic testing reimbursement dynamics.
  • Deep understanding of oncology testing ecosystems and buyer motivations.
  • Able to translate clinical and scientific complexity into commercial urgency.
  • Comfortable engaging with scientific, medical, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to travel 40+%

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your expertise and connectivity in Oncology to drive a book of business by nurturing current clients as well as identifying new opportunities to expand PatientPoint’s impact in this vertical.
  • Leverage relationships both internally and externally to navigate the sales process and complex situations, knowing when to bring in senior support.
  • Navigate and influence complex, matrixed organizations where decision-making authority is distributed.
  • Proactively engage agencies of record (AORs), media agencies, and specialty oncology agencies that shape testing brand strategy and budget allocation.
  • Position PatientPoint as an essential downstream activation partner within integrated brand plans, not a tactical add-on. Share the PatientPoint value proposition to new and existing relationships with a goal to bring on new verticals and sponsors in our most valuable specialty
  • Build broad, multi-level relationships across diagnostic, genetic, and genomic testing organizations, including: brand and product marketing, commercial and sales leadership, medical affairs, clinical teams, patient engagement and education leaders
  • Drive alignment between brand teams and agencies to accelerate budget approval, pilot programs and scaled multi-brand or multi-test engagements
  • Identify and unlock non-obvious budget owners and funding paths within testing organizations.
  • Act as the connective tissue between PatientPoint, the brand, and their agency partners to maintain deal momentum and shorten sales cycles.
  • Foster ongoing client relationships to maintain a strong renewal growth rate.
