About The Position

BYLD is a construction technology company that uses proprietary software and hardware to process light gauge framing profiles. Our technology effectively automates carpentry – sizing, measuring, cutting, embossing and laser etching profiles so that framing subcontractors (our customers) can quickly and cost effectively assemble walls, trusses, and buildings, following a “BYLD by Numbers™ approach to construction. The VP, Framing Client Services is a member of our senior leadership team responsible for training and supporting BYLD’s network of light gauge steel framing contractors. As VP you will build and manage a team that works directly with framing subcontractors, self-perform general contractors, and panelizers to ensure that they meet their budgets and schedules working with and installing BYLD processed light gauge steel. You will develop training programs and best practices to streamline operations for existing customers and for onboarding and training new customers. You will work with BYLD’s internal stakeholders to ensure integration with all teams within our organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ yrs. experience in light gauge steel framing and construction management
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • A proven record of people management
  • Basic finance and accounting skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Client Services: Develop a program for you and your team to work with BYLD’s framing clients to ensure we are meeting their needs, and they are succeeding on their projects.
  • Onboard new clients and customers: Work with our business development teams to develop and maintain relationships with our framing client network.
  • People & culture: Manage staffing requirements, onboard and develop employees. Work with our processing teams to ensure BYLD’s customers are receiving materials on time. Work with our external project teams to ensure their projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Project Management: Work with our project management and supervisor teams to support our clients in project delivery.
  • Leadership and communication: Lead by example. Promote an environment of clear, open and constructive communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate performance reporting and manage your team’s P&L.
  • Risk management: Develop plans to manage and mitigate issues with non-conforming materials.
