About The Position

TriVoca is seeking a seasoned, client-obsessed business development leader to join our growing team. This role is focused on generating new business in the healthcare sector while deepening relationships with existing clients through strategic sales, consultative engagement, and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes. Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful business development, client growth, or senior account leadership experience within healthcare market research, life sciences, or related industries.
  • Established relationships and experience working directly with healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payer, provider, or healthcare agency clients.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the nuances, regulations, and dynamics shaping the healthcare industry.
  • Strong track record of B2B sales success, including complex, high-value engagements, with the drive and tenacity the sector demands.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, with the ability to map client buying committees and uncover core business challenges.
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerating revenue across priority healthcare targets by winning new clients and deepening existing account relationships.
  • Harnessing industry networks, conferences, and digital channels to build outreach strategies and establish footholds within key healthcare organizations.
  • Serving as a strategic partner to clients by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and research needs.
  • Managing and reporting on pipeline activity and sales progression.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that expand existing partnerships and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Analyze account performance, market trends, and industry developments to inform growth strategies and client recommendations.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction targets.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare clients, maintaining strong relationships and profitability expectations.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients, strengthen relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of client objectives and market challenges.
  • Consult with clients on research design, methodologies, and business challenges to ensure solutions align with their goals.
  • Develop thoughtful proposals, recommendations, and presentations that clearly articulate value and address client needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance and market research expertise that helps clients make informed business decisions.
  • Align closely with internal leadership and delivery teams to pursue and execute on opportunities.
  • Foster strong internal partnerships that support seamless delivery and long-term client success.
  • Share client feedback and market insights with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay sharp on healthcare industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving market research methodologies.
