Requirements

  • Key member of Vestwell’s Sales leadership team in the Financial Advisor Channel.
  • Responsible for driving efficiency, consistency, effectiveness of strategy, and growth of Vestwell’s sales efforts.
  • Strategic and hands-on leader.
  • Collaborate closely with both BD and RVP teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of delivery upon solutions, systems, and processes across the organization.
  • Experience with sales tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data analytics platforms.
  • Experience in developing and reporting on sales performance metrics.
  • Experience in managing, coaching, and motivating sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Sales leadership to align with company objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and sales performance data to identify opportunities for process improvements and strategic shifts.
  • Partner with sales management and finance to develop sales targets, quotas, and KPIs.
  • Coordinate and execute Vestwell’s 2026 Partner Forum with executive leadership and marketing.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within day-to-day sales operations, optimizing systems, processes, and tools.
  • Ensure seamless communication and alignment with Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Product teams on product updates, launches, and campaigns.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, including lead management, CRM adoption, forecasting, and territory management.
  • Strategize and deliver training programs with Learning & Development and Enablement teams for sales staff and RVPs on Vestwell’s products, solutions, and platform capabilities.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales staff to enhance sales techniques, product knowledge, and client understanding.
  • Support RVPs in fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Train teams on new product launches and enhancements, optimizing sales processes.
  • Ensure the sales organization operates with the right tools, systems, and strategies.
  • Serve as the bridge between Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams for smooth communication and coordination.
  • Develop cadence/campaign strategies in partnership with Marketing and Enablement.
  • Lead the adoption and optimization of sales tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and data analytics platforms.
  • Ensure sales teams have necessary resources and technology for effective execution.
  • Regularly evaluate the sales technology stack and implement new solutions.
  • Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to prepare the sales team for product launches, enhancements, and client messaging.
  • Provide feedback from the sales team to Product and Marketing to ensure product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiators align with the sales process.
  • Assess and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring sales targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales effectiveness, pipeline health, and performance against quotas.
  • Utilize data-driven insights for informed decisions on sales strategy and operational improvements.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the sales team in partnership with DVPs and BD Managers to exceed sales targets through outbound prospecting.
  • Equip the team with best practices and sales techniques.
