Within our State Government Solutions business unit, we support State Medicaid and Health and Human Services agencies by delivering a broad array of complex health services, including advanced analytics, policy and program consulting, operational capabilities, program integrity, and health information technology modernization solutions. The Vice President of Business Development serves as the lead representative for Optum State Government Solutions within their designated territory. This role influences and executes sales efforts for Optum’s core capabilities for Direct to State opportunities. The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for developing strategies aligned with State goals and coordinating multifaceted teams across Optum to deliver solutions that best meet customer needs. This is a quota carrying position with primary emphasis on new business growth and customer satisfaction.
