VP Business Development, Client Executive (CRE Due Diligence)

CRETELLIGENTTown of Berlin, NY
$145,000 - $185,000Remote

About The Position

We are CREtelligent. What happens when you combine comprehensive property data sources, predictive analytics, cutting edge commercial real estate technology and a talented team ready to disrupt a multi-trillion-dollar industry? Put simply, you get CREtelligent. We are innovators. With a wide range of innovative end-to-end solutions, we are revolutionizing commercial real estate (CRE) due diligence for the financial, commercial real estate, and banking industries. Our RADIUS platform and PropTech-enabled services help lenders, investors, attorneys, and property professionals collapse transaction cycle time, mitigate risk, and move deals forward with confidence — and we're just getting started. Last year alone, RADIUS supported more than $2.3 billion in commercial transactions for over 750 clients nationwide. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a driven, relationship-first Client Executive to grow CREtelligent's footprint with lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, and owner-operators across the country. This is a true hunter role: you'll identify and pursue new business, build a pipeline from the ground up, and bring the RADIUS story to life for prospects who are drowning in vendor portals, email chains, and disconnected due diligence workflows. You won't just be selling a platform — you'll be introducing people to a better way of doing business, and you'll see the direct impact of your work in every deal that closes faster because of you. This role carries real autonomy and real upside. You'll own your territory, build your own playbook for prospecting and closing, and be rewarded with uncapped commission as you grow revenue. You'll also have the full weight of CREtelligent's marketing, client success, and product teams behind you — this isn't a role where you're selling alone. Because you'll be speaking directly with lenders, investors, attorneys, and developers about the due diligence process itself, this role requires someone who has actually sold CRE due diligence services before — not just sold around them. You know the difference between a Phase I and a Phase II, you can speak to why an ALTA survey matters in a transaction, and you understand how zoning issues can hold up a deal, because you've carried a bag selling one or more of these services. More than that, you've built and grown a real book of business in this space — you know how to turn a first conversation into a repeat client, and you can point to the roster of relationships you've built as proof. We offer a supportive, collaborative culture, a competitive base plus uncapped commission plan, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, generous paid time off plus company holidays, a 401(k) with employer contribution, and the chance to help shape a fast-growing, category-defining company from the sales floor up.

Requirements

  • Direct, hands-on experience selling one or more CRE due diligence services — for example, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, ALTA/NSPS Land Surveys, zoning reports, Property Condition Assessments, or valuation/appraisal services. You don't need to have sold all of them, but you need to have carried a bag in this specific space.
  • A demonstrated track record of building and growing a book of business in CRE due diligence services — not just closing individual deals, but developing repeat clients and expanding relationships into recurring, growing revenue over time.
  • 3+ years of proven success in outside/field B2B sales, business development, or new-business account management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Existing relationships with and credibility among lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, or owner-operators who regularly order due diligence services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle independently, from prospecting through close, in a consultative, relationship-driven style.
  • Comfortable and energized by travel; willing to be in front of clients and prospects in person.
  • Strong communicator and presenter, equally effective in a boardroom, at a conference booth, or on a video call.
  • Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce) to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy, sets an ambitious bar for themselves, and stays resilient through a long sales cycle.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business across a defined territory or vertical (lenders, investors, attorneys, developers, and owner-operators), building a pipeline from first outreach to signed agreement.
  • Own the full sales cycle — identify decision-makers, run discovery, deliver compelling RADIUS platform demonstrations, negotiate terms, and close.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Build lasting relationships with key CRE stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than a vendor.
  • Represent CREtelligent at industry events, conferences, and trade association meetings to build visibility and generate new leads.
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Client Success to ensure a seamless handoff from prospect to onboarded client, and to inform campaigns and content with real market feedback.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline and activity records in HubSpot to support forecasting and reporting.
  • Serve as the voice of the market back to CREtelligent — sharing competitive intelligence, client needs, and industry trends that sharpen our product and go-to-market strategy.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 30-40%) for client meetings, industry conferences, and regional events.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive extended health care coverage - medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, medical transportation plan, critical illness insurance, pet insurance, legal insurance
  • 401k and Roth Retirement Plans with employer contribution
  • Flexible Time Off (no tracking and no accruals)
  • 12 recognized paid company holidays
  • Uncapped commission with accelerators for over-quota performance
  • Paid maternity leave (12 weeks paid leave plus another 4 weeks of part-time paid transition time)
  • Paid paternity leave (6 weeks paid leave)
  • Half day of paid volunteer time off
  • Monthly all team huddles
  • Quarterly all hands meetings
  • Regular employee one-on-one sessions with managers
  • Opportunities for professional development (lunch and learns, webinars, out-of-office events)
  • Support for career advancement
