About The Position

Leads the strategy, development, and execution of the end-to-end analytics & reporting for consumer lending including home equity lines of credit, other retail products, and future unsecured personal loans and credit card products. Champions a data-driven culture and the use of advanced analytics and data infrastructure to drive innovation in areas such as credit decisioning, pricing, and customer lifecycle management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, data analytics, or relevant field required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in data analytics required, in consumer credit preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more of SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the analytics strategy for the consumer lending portfolio, aligning with business goals and risk tolerance
  • Lead the design, development, validation, and monitoring of credit risk models and scorecards, including underwriting, behavioral, pricing, and loss forecasting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks that track portfolio health, credit quality, delinquency trends, loss performance, and profitability metrics.
  • Conduct in depth analysis to identify emerging risks and growth opportunities.
  • Design and evaluate origination, account management, and collections strategies using statistical modeling, segmentation, and champion/challenger testing.
  • Deliver customer lifecycle analytics including acquisition, activation, utilization, retention, and attrition to inform targeted strategies across the lending funnel.
  • Partners with Marketing to assess market opportunities, evaluate product economics, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Leverage customer data to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the consumer lending portfolio.
  • Provide analytical support for loss forecasting, stress testing, and allowance for credit losses processes in collaboration with Finance and Risk.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Data Engineering teams to ensure the availability, accuracy, and accessibility of lending data assets.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards and best practices within the analytics function.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate complex analytical insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
