About The Position

The Divisional Sales Leader will build and scale a high-performing builder-focused mortgage business within an assigned division. This leader is responsible for defining market strategy, prioritizing builder opportunities, and ensuring consistent execution across the sales organization. Establish divisional growth priorities across markets, builders, and product mix. Build and maintain a pipeline of builder opportunities aligned with strategic objectives. Lead and manage a sales organization focused on execution, consistency, and results. Integrate market data and financial insights into planning and performance management.

Requirements

  • Experience in mortgage banking, homebuilding, or a related field with exposure to builder relationships
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including evaluation of deal structures and profitability
  • Familiarity with market intelligence tools such as Zonda or similar platforms
  • Experience leading teams and managing performance in a results-driven environment
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Deliver divisional performance across loan volume, revenue, margin, and market share
  • Evaluate and select builder partners based on financial strength, market position, and long-term viability
  • Structure and negotiate builder relationships in alignment with company objectives and risk standards
  • Drive growth within existing builder accounts through increased capture and community expansion
  • Apply Zonda and market intelligence to guide market selection, builder targeting, and resource allocation
  • Ensure sound financial decision-making, including pricing, incentives, and deal-level profitability
  • Establish clear performance standards and operating discipline across the sales team
  • Develop team capability through coaching in builder strategy, financial analysis, and market application
  • Partner with HR, Legal, and Compliance to support organizational effectiveness and ensure regulatory alignment
  • Represent the company’s platform in builder engagements and internal planning discussions
