About The Position

Sound Credit Union is currently seeking a VP / Branch Manager to join the team at our Kent Branch. If you have a banking or credit union background and have a passion for providing exceptional member service, growing relationships in the community, as well as coaching and developing your team, then this position is for you! Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a management role or demonstrated experience in a leadership position required, preferably in a financial institution.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Will need to obtain a NMLS license and serve as Notary Public and Signature Guarantee.
  • Must be bondable.
  • Employer sponsorship to secure or maintain employment authorization is not available.
  • Notary and NMLS certifications are necessary for UA II level and higher and require US citizenship or permanent legal residency in order to be obtained as per WA State Law.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on developing staff to deliver exceptional member service and provide efficient and friendly service.
  • Lead and support branch team to achieve individual and branch goals, while promoting credit union's image and growth in the local community.
