Field Directors are integral to the director team, responsible for building an office from the ground up. Their role involves training canvassers in the field, canvassing themselves to lead by example, communicating goals to staff, and managing campaign reporting. They manage canvassers and Team Leads, reporting to the Lead Director. The position requires leading by example, actively canvassing, training and supporting canvassers, managing daily operations, meeting voter contact goals, and developing future leaders within the team. The role is available in Buck County PA, Eau Claire and La Crosse, WI, and Paradise Valley, AZ.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing paid canvasses or teams of paid employees.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of 20-50 paid canvassers who will engage voters.
• Canvass yourself multiple days a week to lead by example and train staff in the field.
• Set voter registration goals
• Provide ongoing training, support, and motivation to ensure a high-performing team.
• Identify, promote, and develop leadership within the team to maximize impact.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive environment where all staff feel valued and respected.
• Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure message accuracy and data integrity.
• Maintain a safe and positive working environment for all staff.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to reach targeted voters effectively.
• Handle administrative tasks, including daily data reporting, payroll processing, and inventory management.
