The Field Director role is part of the director team, responsible for building an office from the ground up. Key duties include training canvassers in the field, canvassing themselves to lead by example, communicating goals to staff, and managing campaign reporting. Field Directors manage canvassers and Team Leads and report to the Lead Director. The role requires leading by example, actively canvassing while training and supporting canvassers, managing daily operations, meeting voter contact goals, and developing future leaders within the team. The position is located in Davenport, IA.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and manage a team of 20-50 paid canvassers who will engage voters.
Canvass yourself multiple days a week to lead by example and train staff in the field.
Set voter registration goals
Provide ongoing training, support, and motivation to ensure a high-performing team.
Identify, promote, and develop leadership within the team to maximize impact.
Foster a diverse and inclusive environment where all staff feel valued and respected.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure message accuracy and data integrity.
Maintain a safe and positive working environment for all staff.
Develop and execute strategic plans to reach targeted voters effectively.
Handle administrative tasks, including daily data reporting, payroll processing, and inventory management.
