The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the patient care and administrative volunteer program. This role contributes to the recruitment of volunteers, assists with interviewing and selection, maintains training schedules, and ensures compliance in the on-boarding process. The coordinator assigns volunteers based on organizational needs and volunteer abilities, collaborates with other departments on fundraising and community relations, and maintains accurate records of volunteer hours and statistics. They also initiate community contacts for fundraising and ensure compliance with nonprofit statutes regarding donations.
