Volunteer Recovery Support
About The Position
We are seeking motivated and compassionate Recovery Support Volunteers to support individuals on their recovery journey. Volunteers will help create a safe, welcoming environment, provide peer support, and encourage engagement with recovery focused activities and services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in local communities while gaining valuable experience in recovery and support work. Successful applicants will be required to attend training taking place in June , which will prepare volunteers for the role and provide essential skills and knowledge to support people effectively.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Attend training taking place in June
- Be kind, open-minded and passionate about supporting people
- Subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level
